MN State Fair announces partial 2014 grandstand acts

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) — Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto is bringing his band Thirty Seconds to Mars to the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand this summer.

Thirty Seconds to Mars will perform with Linkin Park on August 26th.

Leto won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award Sunday for playing a transgender woman in "Dallas Buyers Club."

The State Fair also announced two other Grandstand acts — Kid Rock, who will perform August 23rd, and the Happy Together Tour 2014, starring The Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie, former Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, former Grand Funk Railroad frontman Mark Farner and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. That show is scheduled for August 25th.
