He issued an apology after comments he made online about the Minnesota senator during President Biden's inauguration on Wednesday.

I have to confess, I hadn't even heard of Instagram influencer Cody Rigsby before today and this kerfuffle involving Senator Amy Klobuchar. As it turns out, Rigsby-- who has over half a million followers on his Instagram page-- isn't just well known online for being an influencer, he's also a Peloton coach, who's gained a national reputation for his high-energy workouts that have flourished during the pandemic.

Peloton, of course, makes the lines of high-priced exercise bikes that allow you to virtually join in a group workout as coaches like Rigbsy yell at you while you're riding help motivate you to get the most out of your ride.

However, it was an Insta story Rigsby posted earlier this week that caused him to issue an apology to those of us here in the North Star State. BringMeTheNews reports that it had to do with comments Rigsby made regarding the color coat Minnesota's senior U.S. Senator, Amy Klobuchar, was wearing during the presidential inauguration earlier this week.

He apparently originally said her coat was the 'corn casserole yellow.' Which, if you check the picture above, it kinda IS. Except, we all know that here in Minnesota, it's not a casserole, it's a (stop me if you've heard this already)... HOT DISH, right?

Well, enough fellow residents of the Land of 10,000 Lakes residents let Rigsby know about his faux pas that he issued an apology. 'Apparently it's called a hot dish not caserole [sic],' BringMeTheNews says he posted. 'Either way sign me up,' he continued. So, yeah, as things go these days, that's not too insulting-- though here in Minnesota, calling a hot dish a casserole CAN be a crime, right?

There ARE just some things you really only know if you live here in Minnesota. But how much of a REAL Minnesotan are you? Keep scrolling to check out this list of things about our fair state-- and see just how many you know!
