Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A northeast Rochester house was hit by a bullet Sunday and police continue looking for the person who fired the shot.

Several residents called 911 around 5 AM Sunday to report hearing gunshots. The calls came from homes located between 12th - 15th streets and 10th - 12th avenues NE.

Officers learned a home located in the 1500 block of 11th Ave NE had been hit by a bullet. It went through the front door and was found lodged in some door trim.
A 68-year-old woman who was there was not hurt.

Officers were not able to locate any other shell casings or bullets and have no idea why the woman’s home was targeted.
