New Minneapolis Venue to Open in February

Minneapolis is home to a new concert venue called The Fillmore. And on Tuesday the first concerts to be held at The Fillmore were announced!

Before we get to the concerts, The Fillmore s located adjacent to Target Field in the Minneapolis North Loop. Bring Me the News says that The Fillmore is "aiming to compete with First Avenue, with the concert promoter and booker taking a potshot at the legendary venue in August, saying The Fillmore is 'not just a black box with people in it.'"

The Fillmore is able to hold 1,850 people. The first concert will be in February with Brandi Carlile! Here is the full line up so far of concerts at The Fillmore:
