Bagley, MN (KROC-AM News) - A law officer in northern Minnesota has been arrested as a result of a criminal sexual conduct investigation.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 31-year-old Clearwater County Sheriff's Deputy Neil Dolan was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Clearwater County jail on probable cause 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct, solicitation children to engage in sexual conduct, and communication of sexually explicit materials children charges.

A statement from the BCA indicates additional information will be released after Dolan is formally charged today.

He is from the tiny town of Shelvin, which is located about 20 miles west of Bemidji.
