Oops! News Shows Wrong Video At Wrong Time

Mistakes happen.   We’ve all seen TV newscasts where they talk about one story but accidentally show video from another.  No big deal.  They apologize and move on.  But KMSP-TV in Minneapolis had an unfortunate situation happen during a recent newscast where they were reporting on the apology issued by Ray Rice.  He’s the NFL player who was suspended for two games for domestic violence against his fiancé (now wife).

While covering his apology, KMSP showed video of a guy dressed as Spiderman fighting with some other dude.   Needless to say, it was an extremely unfortunate mixup, especially considering the subject matter.  While awkward, the anchors handled it about as well as could be expected.
