Over 20k Raised for Preston Area Community Foundation In One Day

Give To The Max Day 2019 was a successful one for the Preston Area Community Foundation.

According to the organization's Facebook Page, the PACF received over $20,000 in donations during Give To The Max Day this past Friday.

Also, kudos to F&M Community Bank and First State Bank of Fountain for matching the donations received throughout the day.

It was a record-breaking event across the state of Minnesota, too. The final numbers came in and it was a record-breaking $21.6 million that was raised for more than 5,600 nonprofit organizations and schools statewide.

Executive Director of GiveMN Jake Blumberg was extremely proud of the state of Minnesota.

"We couldn't be more proud to be stewards of this amazing day, which embodies everything that is great about Minnesota- community, generosity and recognition that, working together, we can accomplish great things," Blumberg said. " Give to the Max Day shows just how treasured our state's nonprofits and schools are to the Minnesotans they serve."
