
Teen Hospitalized After Crashing Into Holding Pond at Southeast Minnesota Interchange
Owatonna, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage driver was taken to a hospital after crashing into a holding pond at a southeast Minnesota interchange.

He was the only person in the vehicle.
The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 11:15 Wednesday night.

Teen Boy Taken to Hospital After Crashing Pick-up Truck Into Holding Pond at Interchange in Owatonna, MN
The crash occurred at the Hwy. 14/Hwy. 218 South interchange in Owatonna.
The teenager was traveling north on Hwy. 218 when when the pick-up he was driving left the road and crashed into a holding pond near Hwy. 14, according to the state crash report.
Authorities are describing the teen driver as a 17-year-old boy. He was brought to an Owatonna hospital following the crash, the State Patrol says.
The state crash report does not say whether or not the boy was injured. His name and hometown have not been released.
The 17-year-old was buckled up, the State Patrol indicates. Mayo Clinic Ambulance, the Steele County Sheriff’s Office, Owatonna Police Department and Owatonna Fire Department also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
