Paul Rudd Celebrates Royals Win

I’ll admit it. I’ve caught Royals fever.  How can you not be happy for the fans of the longtime baseball doormats…the Kansas City Royals?    They haven’t even made the playoffs since 1985 and now they’re heading to the World Series.

Actor Paul Rudd is from the Kansas City area and he’s a huge Royals fan.  A local Kansas City TV station caught up with Rudd right after the Royals won game four of the American League Championship Series over the Baltimore Orioles.  He’s pretty excited.   He even went as far as to invite people over to his mom’s house to celebrate!

The 2014 K.C. Royals remind me of the 1987 and 1991 Minnesota Twins.  Like the Twins, maybe they’re a team of destiny.  For this year anyway, I’ll go ahead and cheer for Paul Rudd (and his mom’s) favorite team.
