Plainview School Referendum Shot Down
Plainview, MN (KROC AM News) - Residents in the Plainview-Elgin-Millville School District have rejected a proposed $18.3 million referendum by a wide margin.
The final tally from Tuesday’s vote was 1,731 - 795.
Money from the referendum would have paid for construction projects at all the district’s schools.
Among the proposed additions the referendum would have funded were a new auditorium, a new band rehearsal room and a new elementary gymnasium.
