Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - One of the two men charged in connection with a shooting in Rochester last year that left a man paralyzed from the neck down has entered into a plea agreement in Olmsted County court.

27-year-old Iman Iman today entered a guilty plea to a first-degree assault charge. He had faced four other felony charges that included two counts of first-degree attempted murder and was scheduled to stand trial in early February.

Iman was accused of being involved in beating and shooting a man in the hallway at the Meadow Park Apartments on August 7, 2019. The criminal complaint alleged a witness saw Iman standing over the victim with a gun just before the shooting occurred.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 7th.

The second man charged in the case, 28-year-old Abdirahman Abdullahi, is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder along with first and second-degree assault. He remains in the Olmsted County Jail on $1 million conditional bail.
