Popular Calendar Now Looking To Photograph Men In Minnesota
In the day and age when just about everyone in Minnesota keeps track of everything on their phones, many of the fun things we used to enjoy in a more personal way have faded to some degree.
For example, real calendars, the kind you hang on your wall, have suffered from the public's increasing reliance on technology. Statistics show that sales of traditional printed calendars have generally declined over the past few years as people now can access them digitally on smartphones and computers.
However, if you rely solely on a digital calendar, you're missing out on owning a fantastic and popular novelty calendar. It sold 13,000 copies in its first year and has seen sales increase dramatically ever since. What's even better is that you could be in it.
The Popularity Of Chickens Leads To A Popular & Funny Calendar
Recent statistics show that in the United States, 13% of households own backyard chickens, which is about 85 million chickens. This is similar to the number of cats and dogs in the United States.
So it's not surprising to learn that one chicken-themed novelty calendar is getting A LOT of buzz. The calendar is called "Chicken Daddies", and it's popular because it not only capitalizes on the popularity of chickens but also has fun by taking memorable and hilarious pictures throughout the country of men with their chickens.

“Chicken Daddies” calendars were created by photographer-artist Danielle Brock of Portland, Oregon. Her mission is to travel the country to photograph men who keep chickens and are also willing to be captured on camera getting a little silly and a little sexy, as they hang out with their hens.
Danielle shared with me how much she enjoys her work, saying "It's a fun process and we tend to get to know each other, become friends and many times spend quality time with various models across the world after the shoots."
Now, she's looking for men to feature in her 2026 calendar and beyond.
Become A "Chicken Daddies" Model
If you, or someone you know in Minnesota would make a fantastic "Chicken Daddie" model, now is the time to apply. Danielle Brock notes that there's no requirement to submit a photo with the application, as this calendar is not about showcasing any specific type of physical attributes, it is about featuring their personality, having fun, making people smile, and their story.
You can click the button below to apply and see the calendars. The 2026 calendars are expected to be on sale as early as May or June of this year, so apply ASAP.
Brock adds that Chicken Daddies proudly come in all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. The main thing is that all men must be 100% in on the process before applying. They can't give a crap about what anyone thinks about them and they must be willing to relax and have fun.
If you do get to be a 'Chicken Daddy', below are examples of how your photo shoot with the talented Danielle Brock could turn out.
