One of the highlights of Rochesterfest is actually the wrap-up event on the final Sunday night. River City Rhapsody is a family friendly world class drum & bugle corps event featuring nine corps in performance plus the Lourdes High School band in exhibition. The event is Sunday, June 28th at the Rochester Regional Stadium at RCTC.

If you've never seen a drum corps event, think of it as the best-of-the-best of marching bands at their extreme. Each world class corps consists of up to 150 young people, ages 14-21. Each corps is made up of three sections: horns, percussion and color guard. They each perform an innovative 11 to 13 minute performance that revolve around a central theme or story.

This is the 3rd year River City Rhapsody will be in Rochester. Corps in performance this year include: Blue Stars, La Crosse, WI...Bluecoats, Canton, OH...Colts, Dubuque, IA...Colt Cadets, Dubuque, IA...Madison Scouts, Madison, WI...Pioneer, Milwaukee, WI...Racine Scouts, Racine, WI...River City Rhythm, Monticello, MN...and Governaires, St. Peter, MN.

Gates open at 5pm and the main show starts at 7pm. Advance tickets are recommended as this show sold-out in both 2013 and 2014.  For more information or to order advance tickets, visit rivercitychapsody.com
