Spotted in Rochester: Breathtaking Field Full Of Orange and White Pumpkins!

If you ever see this orangish bus around town, look closely at the windows.  Those aren't people inside.

Fall is the time of year when trucks get full for pumpkin deliveries.  But in Rochester, there is also an orange bus that has been spotted throughout the years transporting large pumpkins from a field in the area.

A few years ago, about 16.2 million pounds of pumpkins were harvested in Minnesota alone!  If you've never had a chance to see a field full of pumpkins, I found a spot on the edge of Rochester that you should drive by with your kids!  It's one of my favorite things to see when I'm driving right now.

This could be an unpopular opinion, but I really think fall is the best time of the year.  I love taking my kids to the local apple orchards to pick out a pumpkin.  Every time we visit one in the area, we have to take a few quick pictures too...pumpkins make the BEST setting.

Every time I see this spot, I am always in awe.  I'm not sure if it is because of how much orange is popping up or because this is a scene we just don't get to see very often.  If you want to take a peek, here is where to find this field of orange and white pumpkins.

Directions to the Pumpkin Field On The Edge Of Rochester, MN

Drive North on Broadway.  Go North, past Purple Goat.  When you get to the stoplight at 48th Street NE, turn left.  Keep driving until you reach East River Road NE and then turn left.  The field will be on your left.  (Get directions here.)
