Pursued Driver Killed After Crashing Into Several Vehicles

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A deadly ending in a police chase in Chaska Tuesday afternoon.

The State Patrol says a St Paul man was driving erratically and took off at a high rate of speed when an officer tried to pull him over. He ended up crashing into 5 other vehicles at an intersection and was killed.

The man was identified as 40-year-old James Erickson.

The other drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
