Rochester Is Awesome #345 – Almost 700 Shirts Sold in Fundraiser

Jessica Williams first wrote about 507 Strong, the fundraiser to help local restaurants, last week and I immediately bought two shirts. At $15 apiece, knowing it'd help local restaurants and non profits, it was a steal. Plus that super soft kinda t-shirt? Please....I'm all in.

One local college student home due to the pandemic, is using her time to help her community. #amazing

Savannah Byers has designed t-shirts ( 507 Strong) for anyone in the community to purchase/ $5 from every shirt will be used to purchase gift cards from local restaurants (read more HERE)

Back then, Savannah Byers thought mayyyybe they'd sell 50 shirts. Well, in the video below, she told us almost 700 shirts have been sold! And of each shirt, $5 will go to buying gift cards, like the quote above says, then those gift cards will be given to non-profits including Mayo Clinic, Gift of Life Transplant House and more.
