I-90 Crash Sends Young Rochester Man to the Hospital

Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota sent a young Rochester man to the hospital.

It happened on Tuesday morning. The State Patrol responded to the crash scene shortly after 5:00. 

The driver was the only occupant of the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Rochester Man Taken to St. Mary's Hospital After Single-Vehicle Crash on I-90 in Dexter

The crash occurred near I-90/Hwy. 16 interchange near Dexter. 

A pick-up truck traveling west left the interstate, drove through the median and into the eastbound lanes. The truck then entered the eastbound ditch where it struck a fence, the state crash report says. 

The State Patrol identified the driver as 23-year-old Jose Munoz Dominguez. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Dominguez was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report indicates. 

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
