Rochester, MN( KROC AM News) -  A Rochester man facing a long list of criminal charges related to child pornography has cut a deal with the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office.

The office filed 5 cases including 60 counts against 27-year-old Arkady Pichurin earlier this year.

Olmsted County Attorney Mark Ostrem said a search of Pichurin's home in January led to the seizure of devices that contained a large number of child pornography images and videos. Some of the videos included conversations between Pichurin and children. Ostrem says investigators were able to identify one of the victims as a preteen girl from New York State.

During a court appearance Monday, Pichurin pleaded guilty to ten charges in one of the cases and the rest were dismissed. He was scheduled to return to court on April 4th for sentencing.

That will be a month after he is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court where he pleaded guilty to similar charges in September.

Federal prosecutors said Pichurin used social media “to lie about his age and identity to carry out his sexual exploitation of the minor.” They said he used similar tactics to sexually exploit and produce pornographic images and videos of more than twenty minors.
