Rochester Man Sentenced for Sex Abuse Case

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A former Stewartville man has been placed on probation for an extended period for a sexual abuse case that began when he was a child.

23-year-old Jesse Dahl, who now has a Rochester address, recently pleaded guilty to a 1st degree criminal sexual conduct charge.

He was accused of sexually abusing a boy for eight years, beginning when the victim was eight years old. Dahl was 11 years old at the time the abuse began.

Dahl was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years probation and ordered to serve a year in jail. He has also been ordered to successfully complete a sex offender treatment program.
