Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has waived his right to a jury trial and is scheduled to have his murder case decided by an Olmsted County judge next week.

53-year-old Darnell McDaniels entered a not guilty plea to a third degree murder charge earlier this week and is scheduled for a court trial on Monday. McDaniels is accused of selling heroin to a 35-year-old man who died from an overdose of the drug in January 2015.

McDaniels is currently being held in the Olmsted County jail on $200,000 conditional bail.
