Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Michigan man is accused of assaulting a Rochester motorist and driving off with the victim’s vehicle and later causing multiple traffic accidents.

The crime spree began around 4:30 PM last Thursday in the 5900 block of Bandel Rd NW when the suspect got into an occupied van.

The man began punching the driver until the victim got out of the vehicle. The Michigan man then drove off with the vehicle. About 20 minutes later the man collided with several vehicles in the Cannon Falls area before he stopped and fled on foot. Officers were able to catch him and he is being held in the Goodhue County jail.

The man has been identified as 26-year-old Saah Harris.
