Rochester Police Seize ‘Smorgasbord’ of Drugs
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A traffic stop triggered by a busted brake light led Rochester police to seize a "smorgasbord" of drugs.
A spokesman says 48-year-old Peter Aufenthie was arrested Friday on almost a dozen charges, including 5 felony drug counts, after a search of his vehicle uncovered over 30 grams of meth, along with dozens of prescription pills for pain, anxiety, and depression. There was also a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle, along with over a dozen knives, several stun guns, brass knuckles, and a variety of items associated with selling and using drugs.
Court records show Aufenthie has a lengthy criminal history involving a variety of offenses in the Rochester that date back to 1990.
