Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - Rochester police officers were called to a southwest neighborhood around 3 a.m. Wednesday to check reports of gunshots.

One caller began following a vehicle involved in the incident and told officers it later stopped at a local convenience store.

Officers arrived and talked to the two men in the vehicle.  They were told the two had been driving around shooting rabbits with a pellet gun. The men were told it is illegal to shoot a pellet gun in the city except on their own property. The officers confiscated the gun.
