Rochester restaurant Canadian Honker has decided to switch to take out only. They made the announcement earlier today on their Facebook page saying that it is a short-term change "to continue [their] record of keeping everyone healthy and safe."

The Powers family, owners of Canadian Honker, talked about their decision to switch to take out only on Facebook. They said that since COVID cases have started to go up again in the Olmsted County area they decided to be extra cautious in order to keep the community and employees safe.

They do also mention in their announcement that one of their employees has tested positive for COVID. They said that they want to use extreme caution to make sure everyone, staff and customers, stays safe.

In their post they say that they are "extremely proud" proud of their staff for being so "committed to safety" and they are also proud that they've been able to keep their doors open "every day since the pandemic." They are working to keep it that way by switching temporarily to take out only.

Also, did you know that there is a secret message on the top of Canadian Honker? The restaurant is across the street from St. Mary's Hospital so the sweet message is for them. You can check out that post from Dunken HERE!
