Rochester Vets Day Program Includes Free Breakfast
Rochester area military veterans are invited to a free breakfast Tuesday at the Event Center.The 14th annual Veterans Day program will be held at the center near the Rochester Airport with breakfast served from 8:30 - 10:30. A program will begin around 10:30.
The event is put on by the volunteers from the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial committee, the DAV, POW/MIA Riders Association, and other volunteers.

The hour long program will include two former Vietnam POWs, Dick and Lillian Phillips, who will talk about their experience as prisoners.
The Minnesota Revenue Department is also reminding veterans and current military members about tax benefits that could be in the hundreds of dollars. Check here for more information.
