Back in May, Jessica Williams reported Dress Barn was going to be closing a bunch of stores, including in Rochester. Here's a part of what she wrote...

It was announced through several news sources that DressBarn will be closing all of their stores, including the one in Rochester.  This is just down the road from the Shopko store that recently shut their doors on the South-side and is in the strip mall with Five Below, Michael's, and Kohl's.

On November 1st, the Dress Barn's parent company began the final step in closing all brick and mortar stores, saying they expect it to be completed by the end of the year, likely December 26th. 544 stores should be officially closed by that date.

Their online site, dressbarn.com will work as usual thru the holidays, as will gift cards. However, all gift cards expire at the end of the year and on or around January 1st, a  new online version of the store will open. That'll be owned by an entirely different company than the one shutting down Dress Barn.
