RPU Request To Run Water

Rochester Public Utilities says the recent cold weather has pushed frost as far as 6 feet underground and that is causing a surge in the number of frozen water pipes.  RPU is urging customers to check the temperature of their cold water, and if it's below 40 degrees to continuously run a pencil thick stream of water from a faucet to prevent a freeze up.
