Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A so-called scrapper entered a guilty plea to a felony burglary charge in Olmsted County court Thursday morning.

33-year-old Eric Hoerner was arrested in December after police caught him removing copper pipes and other items from a downtown Rochester property that is slated for demolition.

Hoerner, who has a St. Cloud address, told the officers he had owner’s permission, but the owner of the former CJ’s Lounge Building was contacted and police say that was not the case. Hoerner is scheduled to be sentenced in early November.
