Search Ends For Missing Mother of Four Young Children
Hinckley, MN (KROC-AM News) - A months-long search for a missing woman ended Saturday with the discovery of human remains in a rural area of Pine County in east-central Minnesota.
A news release says it's presumed the remains are of 33-year-old Ashley Miller Carlson. She was reported missing in the same area near the Minnesota-Wisconsin border east of Hinckley in late September. The remains were located during a search organized by law enforcement agencies investigating her disappearance.
Investigators have not commented on the cause or manner of her death. Carlson was from the Grantsburg, Wisconsin area and is survived by four young children.
