See Independence Day and Rio FREE at Rochester Drive-In Movies!
This weekend, Rochester's free drive-in movies feature two awesome movie franchises. Independence Day and Rio!
Here's the lowdown. There are three drive-ins in Rochester this weekend. One charges everyone $25/car. That's the one in THIS story.
Tonight at 6, Live Music and a drive-in movie for the whole family is happening at the Olmsted County History Center! Night at the Museum is featured tonight.
However, the other two drive-in movie theaters are free if you're experiencing tough times money-wise. The two locations are Autumn Ridge Church and the Olmsted County Fairgrounds and ALL profits go to area non-profits. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. Please follow the directions at the drive-ins so we can keep having this awesome thing happening into the fall.
Here's the schedule...both are 7:30 - 10 PM
- 9/11: Independence Day
- 9/12: Independence Day Resurgence

- If you can afford to make a donation, it'd be awesome if you tossed $20 in the bucket.
