(KROC-AM News) - Snow/ice-covered roads contributed to a semi-truck and trailer rolling over on I-90 in Olmsted County just east of the Stewartville exit Monday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a Volvo semi-tractor and trailer was traveling eastbound on I-90 when it left the roadway and rolled over just before 1:30 p.m.

The passenger, 25-year-old Mohamed Abdulahi of Wilmar, was injured with non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. The driver, 29-year-old Khadar Dahir of Wilmar, was not injured in the wreck.

There was also a single-car wreck on I-35 near Albert Lea Monday night.

The state patrol reported that an IHC Penske Truck was traveling northbound on I-35 when it entered the median and rolled just after 9 p.m near mile marker 6 in Freeborn County.

The driver of the truck was 51-year-old Hunbrto Catalan of Lansing, Illinois, was transported to Mayo Clinic Albert Lea with non-life threatening injuries. Road conditions were described as snow/ice-covered.
