( Undated )   Parts of Minnesota’s North Shore received their first real snow of the season last night.  Totals were generally around half an inch but a report from near Isabella indicated two inches of snow on the ground.  Heavier snow fell across parts of northern Wisconsin, including 6 inches in the Ironwood area.

No snow is in the forecast for southeastern Minnesota but it will be very cold tonight with lows around 20 degrees in many areas.  Rochester had an unofficial low of 25 degrees at the airport this morning, the coldest it’s been since April 15th.
