The Rochester Parks and Recreation master plan was formally approved this week.  It's a "fluid" plan according to Director Paul Widman who talked about it on Friday with Rich Peterson on Rochester's Good Morning.

The plan goes beyond just what we normally think of with parks and recreational activities like golf to include landscaping, roadways and flood control.  Paul said it's a plan that, if implemented to today would cost about 75 to 80 million dollars..

Again, you can get a better idea by checking out the Park and Rec website.

Paul Widman is a regular monthly guest with Rich Peterson and Kim David on KROC AM.  His next visit will be Friday, Sept 9.
