LET’S MOVE! Top States Sending The Most People To Minnesota
Minnesota has some amazing perks - over 10,000 lakes, we've got waterfalls, Mayo Clinic is located in Rochester, nature is practically everywhere if you want to go enjoy it, the people are said to have this "nice" quality.
And then winter hits. As my nose hairs are frozen and I hear about warnings that say we can't be outside for more than 15 minutes due to the risk of frostbite, I question my choice to live in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Pushing grocery carts in a packed Target parking lot through the snow is the Minnesota version of a workout - and I DO NOT recommend.
But then spring comes and Mother Nature puts us all under some curse and we stay another 365 days. But people move here, on purpose, and below are the top states that seem to have a mass exodus of people heading to Minnesota.
Top States That Are Seeing People Move to Minnesota
When someone says that they moved here from another state, especially one that doesn't have temperatures that can freeze your skin off, I always ask them "why". You had sunshine! Some of my friends who have moved from other states even had beaches near oceans and I am really questioning their ability to make sound life decisions because they left that to come to this frozen tundra.
Turns out, Stacker did some research and some states are seeing a big exodus of people who are making that life decision to pack up all of their stuff and move to Minnesota.

If you could move to any state, where would you go?
I already know that my retirement home is in La Jolla, California. If you haven't been there, don't just "put this place on my bucket list". You need to go visit ASAP. It is one of the most gorgeous places and I am going to live right on the ocean. The retirement home is Casa de Mañana Retirement Community and is right across the street from where you can go and watch the seals. It is perfect.
If moving expenses were covered and you could move right now to your dream location, where would you want to live? If you need some helping picking a spot, here are the top three spots that are the best places to live in the U.S. according to U.S. News and World Report:
If one of those three didn't make your list, let me know your pick over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio!
