St Paul (KROC AM News) - Still no winner in the Republican primary held Tuesday for the First Congressional District seat that was left vacant due to the death of Congressman Jim Hagedorn.

At last report, it was a two-way race with Brad Finstad leading Jeremy Munson by around 400 votes. Hagedorn’s widow Jennifer Carnahan was a distant third with only 8-percent of the vote.

It was a blowout in the Democratic primary as former Hormel CEO Jeff Ettinger collected more than 60-percent of the votes. He and the Republican winner will meet again in the August special election to determine who will finish Hagedorn’s term.
