Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -   A Rochester man who was apprehended last week as the suspect in two burglaries involving occupied homes in the southwest part of the city is now accused of an earlier one in a northeastern neighborhood.

The new case against 24 year old Jenarie Payton accuses him of forcing open a window of a home located on North River Court NE, just off East River Road and a few blocks west of Olympik Village.

A woman says she was home alone around 9:30 p.m. October 10th when she was suddenly confronted by a strange man who told her he was looking for someone who owed him money.The woman told the man she did recognize the name and yelled at the intruder to leave.She later noticed a pellet gun and some items were missing.

The woman says the same intruder came back the next morning, again looking for the man who owed him money.She was later able to identify the man as Payton.

Police say he remains a suspect in some other burglaries.
