All right, stop…collaborate and listen, Ice is back for the Wolves Home Opener.  That’s right, the one and only Vanilla Ice will perform at halftime of the Wolves-Pistons game at Target Center, Thursday October 30th.

Vanilla Ice topped the charts for 16 weeks in 1990 with his breakthrough album “To The Extreme” which went on to become the fastest selling hip-hop album of all time.  In more recent years, Ice (aka Rob Van Winkel) went on to star on various reality TV shows including his current one “The Vanilla Ice Project”, a home renovation program that airs on the DIY network.

Let’s hope Vanilla Ice brings better luck to the Wolves than he did to the Houston Texans last year.  After performing at the halftime show of one of their games early in the year, the team went on to lose their remaining 14 games of the season, leading some players and fans to blame Vanilla Ice for the losing streak.

To paraphrase…If there’s a problem, yo he’ll solve it, check out Andrew Wiggins hook while Ricky Rubio revolves it.  Word to your mother.  (Sorry, I just can't stop).
