Thieves Hit Rochester Tobacco Store

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – Thieves made off with nearly 50 cartons of cigarettes early Friday from a Rochester business.

Police were notified around 2 a.m. that the security alarm had been activated at the Tobacco Discount store at the Miracle Mile Shopping Center.

Officers found the front glass door had been broken. It was determined 47 cartons of cigarettes had been stolen. For some reason, the thieves did not take cash that was visible.

The store’s surveillance system showed two men wearing hoodies entered the store and it’s suspected a third stayed outside as the lookout.
