Lately there's been a cool trend where movie stars who play superheroes play those characters for real life people, usually kids, going through difficult times.

Recently Chris Pratt (Star Lord) and Chris Evans (Captain America) both visited sick kids in a children's hospital. And now this week Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) helped deliver a new prosthesis to a 7-year-old child with one arm. He played the role as Tony Stark and didn't break character even once.

Just how cool is Robert Downey Jr?  He was kind enough to pose for a picture with me over 20 years ago and didn't even laugh at my ridiculous beard. (Maybe he thought I was in town auditioning for a role in Grizzly Adams).
