Traffic to be Affected by Rochester Area Road Project

An Olmsted County road project will affect traffic at an intersection a few miles east of Rochester this week.

The county’s Public Works Dept. says the intersection of county roads 9 and 11 will be closed to traffic for about a week. The county recommends motorists affected by the closing of the intersection to use either County Rd 2 or Highway 14 as a detour.

The county has been rehabbing County Road 9 between East Circle Dr on the west and County Rd 11 on the east this year. Concrete paving began last week at County Rd 119 and it will continue to East Circle Dr.
