It's going to be a big summer of events for many people. Lots of weddings, concerts, and family reunions seem to be planned. It's even a busy summer at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. They have quite a few great shows coming up, which we'll talk about in a second. In honor of those shows, they've come out with their very own beer!

I'm a big beer fan, I like all kinds but my go-to is typically a Blue Moon. I'll be curious to try out the beer that's been created by Treasure Island. They didn't do it alone though, KARE 11 says they created this beer in collaboration with a Minnesota brewery from Hastings.

The brewery is called Spiral Brewery. They've been around since April of 2018 and partnered with Treasure Island to make a beer in celebration of an amazing summer of shows. The beer is called 'The Island'. It's a tropical IPA that, according to the Hastings Star Gazette, has mango and pineapple hoppy notes and is only available at Treasure Island. They just had a big launch party for the beer on Saturday.

Summer 2022 Shows at Treasure Island

Like I mentioned earlier, there are lots of shows coming to Treasure Island this summer, which is why this beer was created.

The first performance is actually this Friday, May 27th where Dierks Bentley will be performing with special guest Ashley McBryde. Other shows are Sam Hunt with Ryan Hurd and Roman Alexander, their show is Friday, July 8th. Then on Saturday, August 6th Gabriel Iglesias will be putting on a comedy show. Friday, August 19th Duran Duran will perform with Nile Rodgers and CHIC. And finally, on Friday, September 16th the Doobie Brothers will perform with Michael McDonald.
