Twin Cities Teenager Killed Crossing Highway
St. Louis Park, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Twin Cities teenager died last night after he was struck by two vehicles.
The State Patrol says 15-year-old Daunte Jamal Moore of Hopkins was apparently attempting to cross a highway in St. Louis Park around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound car and the force of the collision pushed the teenager him into the eastbound lanes where he was struck by another vehicle. The State Patrol report notes the driver of the first car had gone through an intersection on a green light and was past the intersection when his vehicle hit the teenager.
The drivers of the vehicles, a 24-year-old man from Minnetonka and a 59-year-old Minnetonka man, were not injured.
