Teenaged Victim Identified In Fatal Crash Near Albert Lea
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News) - The teenaged victim of a Monday afternoon crash near Albert Lea has been identified.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that 16-year-old Grace Zimmerman of Alden, Minnesota, died after a wreck just north of Albert Lea Monday around 2:45 p.m.
Zimmerman was driving eastbound on Freeborn County Road 14 in a Ford Fiesta while a semi-truck, driven by 57-year-old Daniel Petracek of Waseca, was traveling northbound on Highway 13. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
Zimmerman was transported to Albert Lea Medical Center where she died. Petracek was not injured in the wreck.
