
Vikings Honoring Caledonia
Eden Prairie, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - The Minnesota Vikings have announced Caledonia as the 2015-16 High School Football Program of the Year in Minnesota.
As part of the award, the Vikings will present the Caledonia football program with a $10,000 check.
Current Vikings practice squad player Isaac Fruechte is from Caledonia and will take part in activities to honor the town and team.
A special Vikings Radio Network broadcast from the town, a visit from Victor the mascot, and a youth football clinic hosted by former Viking linebacker EJ Henderson are scheduled Wednesday.
Fruechte will visit his hometown the following day and take part in a special presentation at the high school, along with teammates Matt Asiata and Charles Johnson.
