A major weather radar out of the Twin Cities is down for maintenance for three weeks starting today. So how are we supposed to know when bad weather is on the way if some of the most popular ways to check the radar are down?

With this radar being down, Bring Me the News says that means we cannot check the weather on weather.gov or with the RadarScope app. Those are pretty popular ways to check the radar. If you're in need of checking the radar over the next few weeks (which I'm sure we will) here are other places to take a look at what's on the way to Southern Minnesota:

There are definitely sources for figuring out what's going on in our neck of the woods, but this radar maintenance is definitely not convenient, but necessary.
