This particular scam is scary for many reasons. First of all, the scammer makes it look like they have an eye on you and your home and sends photos to 'prove it' to you.

They also seemingly have information on you, which in turn creates a sense of panic. They know your name, your address and some other person information.

They also have a picture of your home to create even more fear. This has been reported a bunch in Wisconsin. So how does this scam work?

First and foremost, this scam has been reported the most in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It could easily happen anywhere in the state or even in Minnesota so make note of this.

They also tell the victim that they have been tracking every internet site they've been on. They say that if you don't pay them through Bitcoin, or another means, they will send out all the information they've gathered to their family and friends.

Don't Believe it!

Obviously, this is a scam. However, because the scammer has a photo of your home (likely taken off Google) and some of your basic information, it seems scary.
