Wintry Mix Expected on Thanksgiving Day
La Crosse, WI (KROC-AM News) - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region that will be in effect on Thanksgiving Day from 9 AM through midnight.
The current forecast calls for a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow. Forecasters say there is a potential for 1 to 3 inches of slushy accumulation, along with the possibility of a glazing of ice on untreated surfaces that would create slippery driving conditions on the holiday.
