Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - One of the two people charged in connection with a stabbing in Rochester last April has worked out a plea agreement with Olmsted County prosecutors.

The case stems from an attack on a 42-year-old man, who was stabbed 6 times in the chest and back inside a residence near the north Broadway McDonald’s restaurant. He was unconscious when he was dropped off at the St. Mary’s hospital emergency room, but survived his injuries.

23-year-old Thane Robinson was later arrested and is awaiting trial on attempted murder and assault charges. Robinson’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Jami Lotti, was charged with 2 counts of threatening a witness and 5th degree assault after the victim of the stabbing told police that she had threatened to kill him if he told anyone about the knife attack.

She pleaded guilty Thursday to the 5th degree assault charge and is scheduled to be sentenced June 2nd.
