Austin Police Warn Dog Owners About Incident in SW

The Austin Police Department and their K9 Unit want everyone with pets to be aware, there may be someone trying to harm your pet.

If you own a dog, please be on the lookout for anyone trying to feed your pet.  On Friday, a report was made (photo and post below) that someone threw meat in to their yard.  They found their dog eating the meat and discovered fish hooks had been placed inside.  Obviously, this could have had deadly consequences.  Luckily, it appears the dog did not eat the fish hook.  Police warn to pay attention and protect your pet.  Last week the Cannon Falls Police Department reported about a dog poisoning.
