Cars 3

The great thing about being a parent is that you have a built in excuse to go to kids movies without looking like a weirdo.

Well, that and all the struggles and satisfaction that comes with procreation.

In 2006, Disney/Pixar released the movie Cars which was perfectly timSedto capture the attention of my kids who were born in 2002 and 2004.  Lightning McQueen has been a big part of my life ever since.  So imagine the excitement I'm experiencing upon the announcement of Cars 3, set to be released in June of 2017!

There is a slight problem however. Those 'perfectly timed' kids are now TOO OLD to care about kids movies.
Back to being the weirdo...
